Never count Hillary Clinton out. I would have thought she’d revealed the fullest depths of her incompetence and tone-deaf politics when she called half the country “deplorables,” telling them “Don’t vote for me,” which they happily didn’t. But now she’s exceeded that brilliant loser strategy ten-fold. At least her deplorable crack got a laugh from her base. Now she’s shown that she not only has zero appreciation of politics, she has zero understanding of basic priorities that drive real people trying to survive in a world gone mad.
In her latest Tweet, she not only sided with Gretchen Whitmer (herself well on her way to becoming the poster girl for the “Politicians You Hate and Wish Would Die club), she labeled as “terrorists” those daring to protest draconian, repressive lockdown orders. Aside from relegating the term to the same list of once powerful descriptors since bleached of meaningful content by leftist overuse (see racist and sexist), does she really think that only her hated deplorables are marching for the right to go back to work? What, no Democrats feel a need to put food on the table and provide for their families?
The talking points will backfire. “Republicans want you to die because they’re greedy; Democrats want to keep you safe because we’re compassionate,” will not hold up, particularly as red states begin to once again thrive, while the poor unfortunates behind the iron curtain of the blue states hope in vain for another government check as they’re arrested for wanting a life.
Unexpected implications; unexpected consequences. Hillary remains Donald Trump’s secret weapon.

Don't get me wrong here. I do believe the millions of people who have lost their livelihoods through no fault of their own must be aided.
But most people want to return to work, reopen their big and small businesses. To get the economy moving again.
