Perhaps in this incident I would be similar to think as you did. But for a while now, Ben is acting in ways that does not exactly inspire integrity and in today's political climate that is one thing I value more than anything. For example not long ago on Ruben's show I think he said he has been writing as ghostwriter for many politicians for years now, but won't disclose what he was writing or for whom. Hence the ghostwriting gig. But I imagine there is a lot of stuff in his closet that probably does not match his public personal image that he so carefully constructed. If you are like Mike Dice or myself, I think we are extra sensitive to that kind of signs. They speak volumes if you are tuned in to it.

For example Ben's show is left alone on YouTube because he has a deal with YouTube. And that deals is probably that he has to predictably maintain the position of controlled opposition. If he were to get out of line he would lose many of his connections and privileged position. And if you watch his show, its paint by numbers show. There are well known talking points that he goes trough the check list and fills in his quota for the day. Collects the ad revenue and repeats next time. The overloads at youtube know what he will say and how he will say it so they keep his around in order to give appearance they allow "conservatives" on the platform. In tern he has a lucrative, secure position and knows the script.

But behind the scenes..... things are not as "principled" as his brand. I think Mike and myself just feel extra sensitive to those signs because they tell you about the character of the person. And often that is all you have to go on in order to know who can you trust and who you cannot trust. I'm sure you would agree with that.

Ben's former staff have come out to expose him as a grifter. He will not touch or defend anything with political temperature regardless of his own "professed" beliefs.

@Krunoslav Well spoken my friend. I have found the same concerns. I was a Shapiro subscriber and about 2 years, I ago noticed a significant shift in the topics and context. He seemed to dodge many important issues, instead trying to omit discussion or attempting to keep a "neutral" stance.
