As I understand it, there have been 6 moon landings during the Apollo program. I only hear about the first one being fake. Anyone hear if the fourth moon landing was a hoax or not? I think the first, third and sixth are real, but the second, fourth and fifth were also real because Director Stanley Kubrick has better shit to do than work a government contract.

When there craft suffered a malfunction they where forced to use the lunar lander to take there craft around the moon and line it up for reentry. The computers that where used where mostly just calculators to double check there calculations they had people that could use a telescope look at coordinance at certain times to see if they could see the craft go by and verify the direction of travel. This was done all around the world at that time although I have not heard of articles written about this.

I do wonder about the missions, though. I'm with Robert Zubrin when it comes to how suspiciously we responded to it, stopped trying to progress in the area, and purposefully misallocated funds to hamstring further space infrastructure efforts when we could be a decade ahead of where we are right now. I don't think it's a conspiracy as much as it is political self-interest; which is why I'm glad that private sector enterprises are pushing things forward.
Once we figure out harmonic fusion the moon will be a plentiful supply of fuel, which will be awesome. Hope I live to see that business in action.

The French have had some luck with Boron laser fusion and it’s very interesting because the reaction is aneutronic making it virtually radiation free. The charged particles emitted can covert their energies directly to electricity without the need for a steam cycle turbine. Whatever fusion tech eventually comes to the fore I hope I’m alive to see it. It will be glorious.
