The educated left don't yet realize that their theology isn't science, so they think they're all reason and shit when they're really as faith based and gut-instinct driven as the traditionalists they hate. If they ever take the time to realize their own emperor is as naked as any that came before, maybe they'll again recognize a tyrant when they see one.

@govols, just passing on some of my own experiences. The 'pseudo-scientists' don't have a party. There are tons of them. They map numbers onto their biases and call it fact. Theology is the perfect term, because it has become a religion. But, it goes even further than that, it's been weaponized by zealots for its power to promote dogma. Guess how much they like hearing that message? Hahaha. They don't like it.

I “useta was” one of those educated liberals. I became more educated when I allowed in more information I was browbeat and shamed to not even look at. The castigation I received for questioning the ever changing definitions and dogma led me to dig even further, and I woke up to their game. They create the monsters only they can save you from, because all disagreement on the right comes from irrational fear and hate.
Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
That’s all the left has.

I would say that the right understands the left far better than the article assumes. Because many of us used to be the left.

What's the alternative? I hear it from libertarians all the time (and they are even farther out there than Yaron Brook).

Instead we'll have individual OWNERS of parcels of land, sea, groundwater, river, and air. Nevermind how we determine who owns it to sell it the first time (where's that title search??)

I listened to Air America on XM for 4 years one 12 hour shift at a time in heavy machinery. I know all the arguments. And it really boils down to two thing on the left. “Our arguments are the moral arguments, all other arguments are immoral, so don’t even entertain them or become “them” “
And “conservatives make all decisions from irrational fear and hate”.
If you listen to any argument, it will always boil down to those two positions. If you follow the argument long enough, the liberal will morally posture, and call you a poopoo face.
Most of their arguments are linear. They can’t see past the talking point to the consequences, and usually can’t back up any assertions, which frustrates them into wondering out loud “why can’t you see how I feel.”

It is so Orwellian it scares me, and shames me for what I used to allow myself to believe and promote.
