It is to support the zero carbon legislation. Teachers are given resources so that children can answer back to Climate scepticsism for example. To be honest, it reminds me of the way youth was used in Nazi Germany, and Cambodia. The children are indoctrinated, and will brook no dissent from even their parents.
Never mind that there are resources to demonstrate that the sun and its magnetic pulses have everything to do with the climate, and that we are entering a Grand Solar Minimum; that fires and hurricanes have happened since the beginning of time, etc. etc. No. Humanity is solely responsible for CO2 emissions, and CO2 warms the atmosphere. The science is settled. (Hint: it isn't, and the first premise of scientific hypotheses is that science is never settled).

As an immigrant to NZ, it frustrates me endlessly how NZers don’t fight back.
They are terrified of being noticed or being branded as racists or in anyway don’t fit in.
I think my biggest annoyance is how I myself have started to conform and just enjoy the country and not speak up.
This is pure Labour and Green Party propaganda ensuring the next generation vote for the parties that always oppressed Maori and stifled economic growth.
