Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.In 1937, President FD Roosevelt unconstitutionally threatened all nine Supreme Court justices with removal if they didn't vacate the Commerce Clause of the Constitution. (Violating the separation of powers concept, just as the House did in ignoring the Constitution's protection of a serving President this year.) In 1942 the "stitch in time that saved nine" was Wickard v. Filburn, in which the SCOTUS caved, and we slid onto the slippery slope away from Constitutional protection of our rights. Many farming families know firsthand about that and to this day curse FDR.
Obamacare was passed in the dead of night and was justified in part by Wickard v. Filburn. The Constitution was written to give the States the power - meaning everything except defense and interstate commerce, not the Federal government, so The Affordable Care Act is a vacation of that principle just as is Wickard v.Filburn.
And the population has gradually come to expect the Federal government to play that role set up for itself like that in things like Prohibition and the unprecedented FEMA action after hurricane Katrina.
It has been observed that the Constitution will be an effective document as long as the people are aware of the tyranny that drove its creation and the philosophies on which it is based. I personally know of only a few people who are so acquainted. The Left has done a creditable job of following Alinsky's Rules For Radicals in creating propaganda intended to discredit the Constitution, and aided by leftist "intellectuals" driving a sensationalist media, drunken on "speaking 'truth' to power," the dumber half of the American IQ curve is only too happy to oblige.

But our educational system has been hiding the Constitution from our kids for a couple of generations!!!
That is about all they have to do to take over!!!
The 2nd Amendment can not protect us if there are no patriots left to use it, and the schools are working real hard to that end, GET A CLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A version of this idea is someone saying "I don't care I never break the law", but we all do because there are so many laws on the books it would be virtually impossible not to break some law most every day. THey are just laws of convenience, there so government can find an excuse to harass a person if they so desire.
