Second time today I've heard of such a thing being possible today..
Sounds like complete bullshit to me..if gender or race can be considered as a social construct, but sexuality preference isnt...?

My brother is a geneticist. Although I'm sure he is alarmed at my lack of comprehension, I believe I understood that genes underly almost everything we do, and that "nurture" is unlikely to have much to do with sexual preference.

That makes no since..yet would put those whom consider race and/or gender as being social constructs in a dilemma llol
it sounds to me more of a case of a gay scientist searching for specific results for personal reasons..
I would think identifying a rapist or murderer gene as being more beneficial
did you ask about the nurturing part, or did he sorta bring it up himself?
@DesireNoDesires We did not discuss social constructs, nor even sexual preferences explicitly. It was a complicated discussion that I am not able to do reasonable justice here.
However I have understood from psychology classes that sexual preference and gender confusion are separate issues.
