Being homeless does not make you virtuous.

There are many homeless people that through no fault of their own find themselves unable to support themselves. There are people addicted to drugs because they were prescribed to them. Their are many mentally ill people who need help on the level of being institutionalized. On the other hand there are many people who are homeless because they lived irresponsible lives of petty crimes, drug use, promiscuity, and exploitation. As long as we don't differentiate between the two groups the former will be victimized by the latter.

Our hedonist problem is driven by the ignorance of our intelligentsia. The scientific materialism that is closely tied to determinism has blinded many to the reality that no society can function without individual responsibility. Individual responsibility that is dependent on the acceptance of compatiblism. Without freewill complex society will devolve into chaos. Nothing proves this point better than the evil socialist regimes of Russia, China, Cambodia, Cuba, and a long list of others.

The 19th century cult of Marxism Is so utterly lacking in sophistication that it is remarkable that it is taken seriously by anyone let alone the intelligentsia. People seem however to need a region and socialism seems to fill the space left by the ascendancy of determinism. The role that religion once filled is increasing filled by the mind numbingly ignorant dogma of minor cult schisms from Marxism such as the SJW ideology.

If Fredrick Nietzsche could see the course that the death of god would set the world on nearly 200 years ago why have our intelligentsia failed to recognize what is happening. Perhaps it's just the narcissism of spoiled children who rebel because they don't get the attention they want. Having become emotionally dependent on false narratives of their own importance they have no rational perspective. They treat there civilization the way every spoiled child treats their parents. Having been rendered insignificant by the enormity of their inheritance they strike out blindly because they have no experience with emotional discipline and the cult tells them this is virtuous.

The fascist always follow in the chaos the socialist create. One small example is how increasingly irresponsible populations, become homeless populations, that now become interned populations.
