We should not be giving money to other countries that don't take care of their own first. I do remember hearing people in the USA complaining about shooting million/billions into space in the sixties and seventies. (back in the days when a million was serious money). I also know that we were using slide rules to figure out trajectories in the early 60's, an the average cell phone today has more computing power than NASA had in the early 70's. So, yes we shot a lot of money into space, but the technology that stayed on Earth is the real gain (and where most of the money really went) and the jobs that have been created because of the Space Race help take care of our citizens. It was our money we spent. So if India or any other country wants to get into space, let them pay for it!

@JimbobNE I have no problem with people coming to this country, but let us start doing it like we did during the great migration of the 18th and 19th centuries. You come here, you learn the language, you get a job, you pledge allegiance to our country, flag and constitution, and become a part of our culture, and I have no problem with them bring parts of their culture, that is what makes the USA great. The problem today is that a lot of the people coming here have no intention of doing any of these things. By the way, my great grand father came here as an illegal, but he came south across our northern border.

You can walk into a drug store see an in store doctor, get a prescription (many drugs do not require a prescription) pay a little cash and be on your way. Little or no wait time. My wife is a medical professional and was impressed with the system. Not saying this works for major problems, but a friend who moved there from the USA said major medical issues were not much more complicated. Pricing was very reasonable, no insurance required, but was available. Just another idea.
