Temperature change is irrelevant. The question that needs answering is whether or not the change is anthropogenic? There are other possible causes supported by many scientists that are discarded outright. Blaming humanity for climate change has taken on the nature of a religion, an incredibly lucrative religion. Western nations are steadily escalating taxes supposedly to assuage their guilty consciences for the "crime" of prosperity. Citizens suffer under growing economic hardship, while countries such as China gleefully reap the $ from cheap coal fired energy, etc. To add insult to injury, there is no actual incontrovertible evidence that climate accords, carbon taxes, corporate carbon credit shuffling and the rest of the Gaia worshipping for profit gong show, actually lowers GHG emissions; or indeed, that lowering GHG a few points will actually accomplish anything! An unbiased examination of the top down "save the world" movement exposes yet another, meticulously calculated and carefully cultivated, ponzi scheme perpetrated on the vulnerable lower classes by supercilious leaders.

I don’t agree with 100% of what Joe has to say, but I believe he is growing quickly. Two years ago, he was a rabid Liberal. He only began attending church and really seeking God a year ago, so he has come a long way fast. I try to keep him in my prayers, and post encouragement. I agree, "getting out of the echo chamber, and a dash of humility" are key. Unfortunately, numerous individuals have not accepted the responsibility to educate themselves. They have become dependent on the socialist indoctrination centres that make up much of the modern education system. A large part of present day education appears to involve the instillation of a stubborn moral relativism combined with the post-modern disregard for anything as quaint as a country. I fear many youths graduate each year with far less than a dash of humility. As time passes, the opportunity for peaceful depolarization lessens.
