Question

As a person with disabilities I obviously care about what politicians will do when it cones to things that pertain to us but having seen my one friends post today made me realize what a major part of the issue is with people’s opinions of Trump and what he has done for certain groups. She is mad Trump hasn’t spoken out about what Trump will do for people with disabilities this term. Who cares?!?! If his policies help Americans then doesn’t that include people with disabilities? Sorry he doesn’t pander to each group. That’s why people can’t be happy about the things he has done for select groups, because we are egotistical and if it isn’t just about us then why do we care. He has to help each group specifically or not at all.

It is not the purpose of the Federal Government to lift up one specific group, but to lift up everyone. The demand that specific groups get special attention - though obviously desirable - creates demands from ALL such groups. Ignoring the group and working to lift up EVERYONE is closer to a viable effort....though I would argue still outside the Constitutional mandate for the Federal Government.

God save us from the "single issue" voter. Such people are not fit to make decisions for any of the rest of us and should scarcely be allowed to vote without a remedial civics course.

He has done, what is good for America, which is good for Americans.
Democrats buy votes by pandering to special interests, that contribute to their campaigns and personal wealth.
Trump works for AmeriCAN’s, not just victims.

Hello. Trump, or the leader of any nation for that matter, isn't God or a miracle maker. They can't make things happen overnight. However, I think that they should be transparent and tell their nation what their priorities are. I also think that many people are too quick to blame the central government. They should look into their own situations and ask themselves if there is anything they can do to address problems, if there is any, at individual level as well as at community level where the members of a community can see if they can make improvements in cooperation with their local authorities.

This is part of where the left is so splintered. The classical marxists keep trying to get the identitarians back to the working class, but the identitarians are convinced lifting the whole working class to better living conditions will leave the inequalities among them unchanged. It goes to that "yeah, but what have you done for me (mine)?"

That’s a rational explanation, but the proof is in the results and Trump shows amazing results because he is pragmatic and well grounded.
