Yesterday’s news - Apple is currently threatening to ban Parler -- the free speech alternative to Twitter -- unless the service enacts draconian censorship policies demanded by left-wing Big Tech oligarchs, according to two sources familiar with Apple's threats.

The core of Apple's case is that Parler is responsible for the content. False.
Fact: Though they deny it, facebook, twitter, youtube, google, and apple are content providers, and therefore
liable for what's posted on their platforms. Much violent content is posted on their platforms and
they do not remove it.
They are also content providers in the sense that they can ban any app they please.
The instant you ban, you become a content provider.

It's a cheap attempt to justify the ban. Apple wants too create the impression that Parler
is already guilty of something. Parler should fight back and state that they are not.
Google killed the android Parler app. Amazon hosts the Parler servers and it's threatening to
reneg on its contract and turn the Parler servers off.
Parler will not survive this. There is no way to overturn the Google ban, and even if Apple doesn't ban the Parler app, they can perpetually threaten Parler with a ban
and use it to bully Parler.
What free speech platforms remain? Any other than IDW?
Democrats are working hard to create the impression that Republicans are Nazis. This has to
be fought. Turn it around. Law of censorship: Whoever is censoring is the Nazi.
Any platform is now at the mercy of the Democrat government. I predict that all free
speech platforms will be killed. The only way out is to channel the spirit of the 2nd amendment. Everyone should have their own private web page and then they can manage their friends list and newsfeed by themselves. Total control. The facebook interface is weak and better is possible. Facebook gives you little control over your newsfeed. We should have total control. And furthermore the ability to
customize it to any degree.
