I’m afraid for many police officers now, the only goal is to keep collecting that well padded, taxpayer funded, paycheque! The cops who do show any reluctance to enforce draconian rules too often defend their duplicitous actions with the WW2 mantra, “I was just following orders”. Never mind the Charter rights that are being trampled into the dust! As if a tin badge and pretentious uniform somehow eradicate the need or even the ability to think rationally and act with compassionate common sense!
