Folks, when you hear China this and China that, make sure you are not useful idiot, because China is going to be blamed for everything US government is doing for two reasons. One is a smoke screen, sleight of hand kind of reason. And the other is because US neocons are hell-bent of war with China in the future. So they are preparing the US public to support it. This is full totalitarian no restriction control to do anything. Essentially more power than Caligula. That being said, they are following a standard procedure of nudging. What will happen is they come out with something way over the top, hope people won't realize it, but if there is outcry they pull it back a little pretending they are not doing it all the way, when in fact they get what they want, always nudging more and more each time. This will be similar.
And I don't expect anything from Supreme Court since they are corrupted just like the rest of the swamp. Fully in pockets of deep state. That is why they refuse to do they only thing they were created for. Remember during Biden-Trump elections when people brought them evidence of voter fraud, and supreme court says, its not our responsibility? Meanwhile something they should not be party to. Roe v Wade, they went out of their way to rule on that one and exceed their jurisdiction and intended function. So I don't expect Supreme Court to be of much help here either.

It created a right -- which is something only a legislature can do. Or, more accurately, only a legislature can recognize -- like the BillofRights, which is a recognition of intrinsic rights.

Yes. What I was using for Roe v Wade is to point out the role Supreme Court took when they took the original case. Roe v Wade was not supposed to be a case for Supreme court and yet they took the case purely out of ideological reasons. Overturning it was the correct decision yes. but taking on that case in the first place is what I was referring to in my comment.

And, of course, the commie trash rule book says violence is justified in response to everything.
This weekend is supposed to be a bloodletting -- all the little brain damaged victims are given permission to anyone who doesn't take a knee to their crappola.

I agree that banning TikTok is just more nanny state nonsense. People need to take responsibility for their own actions. But they also need to be well informed of the risks of using the platform and I’m not convinced the media has been upfront about them.
Beyond that, however, let’s not go into denial that the CCP is an aggressive and opportunistic totalitarian regime that will do whatever it can to disrupt US interests, domestically and abroad. Its goal is hegemony.
