Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I am not sure how this would effect his theory, is at all, but what is commonly known as the Civil War was not a violent revolution against a standing government. The southern states seceded peacefully, then created a separate nation of the Confederate States of America. The violence came from the United States federal government attacking a foreign nation for the purpose of reclaiming tax monies they would lost through secession of those states. The only reasons the Confederacy took up arms was to protect their country, and their homes from an act of foreign aggression.
