I was proud that our president quickly closed the borders due to the pandemic, but lately I feel like his leadership skills are woefully lacking.

Although it's easy to criticize, you need to remember the extreme conditions of destructive forces on all sides Trump is forced to deal with on a constant basis. To be honest I am amazed the relentless waves of leftist BS hasn't broke him down sooner.

I get what you are saying but Republicans have control over the majority of branches of government.That should be all the confidence and backing a POTUS needs. No president gets a pass because of pressure from an opposing party. Obama had effigies of himself in a noose and burning. Yes, the media loved him, but he had pressures too. Under Obama we finally captured and killed Bin Laden and the right was silent. Like what does a guy gotta do here. No matter waht side of the aisle good for America is good for America.
@FOTD13 except that half of the Republicans are cowards who have for all too long let the Dems drag policy further and further left so that the Republican stance for many now sits is further left than what Dems stood for 40 years ago. JFK was more conservative than too many elected Repunlicans today.
You're absolutely correct. When Trump came in as PORUS and the Repubs held both the House and Senate, they should have mopped the floor cleaning too many generations of left BS PC policy. Instead many Repubs fought Trump as ruthlessly as Pelosi or Schumer. What a total let down and embarrassment to say the least and I don't hang any of that on Trump.
