Not entirely true. The far left and a good amount of the partisans? Yeah, definitely so. Most of the people who are center-left or are moderates are pretty upset about it. I mean, look at Tim Pool's channel and he's got a ton of videos just in the last few days about this specific topic. I certainly have been raising a fuss as best as I'm able to as well, so it's kind of an issue to lump everyone in together.

That being said, there is definitely a lack of the majority of left-leaning media sources decrying the censorship, and a fair number actively cheering for it and supporting it. Of that there's no way to avoid the admission of such, but it's definitely not just crickets either unless you've managed to completely block all left-leaning sources entirely.

Oh hey there. Here's the thing. Facebook isn't obligated to give a platform to anyone, let alone Nazis and the like. Complicating that is the fact that Facebook has a monopoly that gives it centralized, government-like power. It's nearly impossible for would-be competitors to overcome its network effect in order to provide said Nazis an alternative. My proposal would be for the government to decentralize Facebook, e.g., mandating the creation of an open protocol that could be used by any number of competitors. Surely such a free market would provide them a platform, even if they had to create it themselves.

and simultaneously the leftists persist in the drum beat of accusing D Trump of attacking and silencing "the media" ...I mean - you just can't make this stuff up! Also it is worth noting that Barack Obama openly, unapologetically and with the tacit approval of MOST "news media" outlets actucally did aggressively try to shut down individual reporters and news agencies who did not toe the leftist/socialist party line.
