This type of revisionism is nothing new, at least lately. When my boys were in school, I looked over their homework, textbooks and nearly every night at dinner, I'd ask, "What did you learn today?"

The assignments at times were appallingly simplistic and sometimes just plain wrong. Whenever their studies made some claim that was at odds with what they'd been taught, we'd hit the old encyclopedias I'd gotten from garage sales. The two sets we owned were from the '50's and the '70's. Needless to say, there were gaps, but their mother and I had lived through the decades not covered, so the validation of, 'we lived through it', went a lot farther than anything their "enlightened" educators sold as gospel.

It has gotten so bad in public education, AOC is the poster child for all that ails our system these days, homeschooling may be the only option to escape indoctrination.

Busted Google. You assholes. Your Propaganda is as obvious as it is invasive and your status as a utility is about to become manifest. Should never have changed that logo but I guess it was fear of being sued over truth in advertising. How about trying not to be Evil again? Yeah, that would be great...

This is an epitomatic example of the nascency of a civil war. When a society can no longer agree about the definition of words, then language gets balkanized followed by individuals balkanizing. We are still months or years out from this conflict but it will for sure happen. Here's why. Until now we've all been separated philosophically but able to co-mingle and live peaceably with each other. Perhaps the most stark divisions occurred in cities, block by block or neighborhood by neighborhood. We are moving away from that with our migration patterns within our nation. People are moving into or out of places in search of others who share their philosophies on politics. I see a time in the future where we can point to a map and start dividing areas on a permanent basis of political analysis rather than just during elections. We will have two Americas. Globalists and Nationalists. We are aggregating around these two philosophies. It's no longer just migration based on picking if you want urban, suburban, small to medium towns, villages, or rural/wilderness.

Tired of writing I'll just give examples of the strident adherence to phenomena in a list and assume you will see them pointing towards the balkanization I'm describing...

Sanctuary cities and states.
Gavin Newsome.
Corey Booker.
Gun rights advocates.
The squad.
Californians moving to Texas.
Electoral college debate.
Corporate news media vs independent journalism.
Chicago.
The southern border clusterfuck.
Democrats on record completely flipping on multiple issues.
Abortion (Editorial: I can't grasp how persons that abortions can't be done on are so passionate about wanting it to remain legal. For example, men, old women, women who say they themselves would never have one. For the politicians I know their motive is the money they get from abortionists and by looking askance at the trafficking of fetal tissue.)
Global alarmism.
Entertainers and high profile pro athletes.
Healthcare (More Editorial: why does every debate about healthcare start in the middle, meaning everyone assumes it needs fixed? Parts of it may need tweaked like all industries do every year or so but why are we assuming our system is broke? We live a really secure life here. I know a medical bill can wreck a credit score but if the procedure saved my life then the last thing I'm worried about is my credit score. That my life was saved is all the "borrowing" I'll have ever really needed.
