Will it somehow imbue black communities with a sense of pride or respect? We'll see how it plays out, but I think most of us know the answer.

I think it will only whitewash more of our history in the long run.
Hello. C. Columbus is another one they've been talking about lately. I don't know why people are mixing up the present and the past. For example, I don't think we can apply our present moral values to the behaviour and actions that took place hundreds of years ago.
I don't think we should sanitise history.
