I’ve seen more than a few posts lately about the ACLU, some of which express concern, shock or surprise at one or another position they may oppose or defend. That’s a discussion for another day. What no one will quarrel with is the fact that the ACLU makes no effort to soft-pedal it’s left-wing bent, other than to assure us that they are true defenders of the American experiment, it’s conscience, you might say.
What most don’t realize is just how left they really are. Sedition takes many forms and is most treacherous when it convinces you that it doesn’t really exist at all.

ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, Antifa, Planned Parenthood, just to name a few are all opposite of the titles. This seems to be a leftist thing. I often wonder if instead of pride in who they are and what they believe, they are ashamed and use the titles as a cover.

Yes. The ACLU built a massive organization and then ran out of legitimate enemies. So it had to create new ones, and moved further left in order to accomplish that. They’ve now abandoned their previous defense of the First Amendment and call for censorship of views they don’t like.

The ACLU are the ones suing our city and council for not allowing the transgenders to read to the kids in the public library. Out taxes fund this organization, and yet they are suing the taxpayer? Geeeez, the irony of it all.
