Our God is not a petty tyrant who capriciously chooses people to be damned or saved without regard for their will. Our God is the source of love and desires love in return. Love is impossible without the will of the lover. Hence, God respects the will of humans granting grace to all who will accept it. I am not a follower of Armenios either, because he relegated God's sovereignty to the dung heap and chose to teach that grace is earned for all practical purposes. No, the teaching of the Church since Jesus ascended has always been that salvation is received when the one being saved accepts the grace to change his thinking and accept the gift of salvation from the Father through Jesus Christ. Baptism, Communion, Orders, etc. are not what saves, but are rites invoked to release the faith of one who is already saved enabling that one to live in the grace freely given by God. In other words, I am Orthodox.

I eat bread leavened with yeast, not chemicals, to benefit from the naturally occurring vitamin E. I walk whenever I can instead of driving anywhere. Since i live in a rural county of Western North Carolina, the walk includes a lot of climbing slopes. Even though my weight is very high and borders on morbidity, I still endeavor to keep active enough to keep my heart healthy and my muscles toned. I am no longer a spring chicken, but I do more physical exercise than most urban or suburban 20-year-olds. I fear no virus because I fear the Lord. He alone can sustain me. Shalom.

Putin is a petty tyrant who routinely oppresses his people and suppresses dissent. He has bilked the nation of Russia for billions of Rubles in his long tenure as dictator.
NATO is an alliance whose purpose ended when the USSR collapsed. Its continued existence would be impossible without some enemy to defend against. When Putin asked Bill Clinton if Russia could join NATO Clinton told him no because NATO would then no longer have an enemy.
Russia is paranoid because of the many invasions of the Rodina over the centuries from the Mongols to the Nazis. But just because one is paranoid does not negate the possibility that there are others out to get them. NATO has steadily encroached upon the Russian sphere of influence, delineated by the old Czarist empire, for the past thirty years. Although that encroachment was not carried out by direct kinetic invasion, it was orchestrated through nefarious means by the Western Intelligence Community led by the CIA.
Ukraine has been a money laundry for people like Soros who bilks NGOs for funds used in political campaigns to undermine America, and as a cash cow for people like Buy-den and the Clinton Foundation to enrich themselves at the expense of the Ukrainian people.
There is blame on all sides in this conflict. And neither side has a morally advantageous hill to stand on.

Unless there is something in man to save then salvation is not worth the life of the Son of God. Instead, it is the bondage of humanity to death from the fall that brings us to a tendency for sin as the commentator pointed out. The death referred to by the Father in Eden was not immediate physical death but the cumulative entropy of the life in humans to the point that physical life cannot be sustained. This is described in the writings of Saint Paul as bondage to death. Ergo, total depravity, as practiced in American churches, is foreign to the Gospel.
As for Limited Atonement, Saint Peter wrote, "God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of repentance." If it is the will of God for all to repent and be saved He would be working against His own will by choosing some for salvation and others for damnation from the foundation of the Earth. Since that is how the doctrine of Limited Atonement is practiced in American churches, it is inconsistent with God's declared will. Is it possible for someone to resist the grace of God? Jesus told Saul on the road to Damascus, "It is hard to kick against the goads." Note that He never declared it to be impossible. And if it is possible that Saul could have continued his resistance to the grace of Jesus Christ then that grace is actually not irresistible. God is not a petty tyrant forcing people to bend to His will nor capriciously assigning people to damnation. This only puffs up the egos of those adherents to the doctrine who are inclined to see themselves as better than another for some immutable reason.
Rather, the expressed will of God is that every human being should change the way they think (repent) and come to the knowledge of His truth. Those who chose to hate God, for whatever reason, would only suffer in the presence of His absolute holiness. Therefore, consignment of the ones in rebellion to His will is not a punishment per se, but an act of mercy. The fires of hell are fueled by the hatred of the angels and humans consigned to exist outside the presence of God.

In order to get the people to accept his "Great Society" programs he had to ensure they were unaware of all the ramifications. So he had the Navy create the Golf of Tonknin incident to give him cause to ask Congress for the power to wage a war that Congress had not declared. That's how and why we went into Vietnam.
