@eschatologyguy On the contrary, the Book of the Prophet Enoch was integral to the Septuagint evidenced by its quotation by Turtullan in the Second Century and many other pre-Nicean Fathers. But sometime between the Counsel at Nicea and the translation by Jerome of the Vulgate, the book was removed, likely under pressure from the Pharisees who took over Judaism. Remember, they wanted to erase all reference to the pre-incarnate Jesus from the Bible, and Enoch talks of meeting Him in the throneroom of the Lord of Hosts. Even the title that Jesus used to refer to Himself, the Son of Man, is straight out of the Book of the Prophet Enoch.

@eschatologyguy Having read Andy McCracken's excellent modern English translation of the Book of the Prophet Enoch, I can attest that Jude quoted him, as well as many other Old and New Testament writers. We are not aware of the number of quotations from Enoch's book because it was removed from the Hebrew cannon by the Scribes when they made the Mazoritic Text in the Second Century AD. It had continued in the Septuagint for a few more centuries, but was eliminated eventually even from that text. Enoch's book is older than the Book of Job. It is available free in PDF format online. Look for the translation by McCracken.

@Krunoslav One of the things the United States military has been working to rid themselves of is the tendency to dehumanize the enemy. When the enemy is not human it is no longer immoral to commit atrocities against them. @lawrenceblair I will grant you that the problem is made worse by the intentional ignorance of the American people and their aversion to confrontation with the evil in the country. America was founded on the unwillingness of Americans to "go along to get along." But those elites who chose our candidates are not native to America either, although they use American front men and women. They are the ones who spent our treasure and their time to convert our schools and press into indoctrination systems to convert people from Americans to livestock ready for the slaughter. While it may be too late for most Americans to deprogram them from this thought control, there are still more than half of us who are not members of their club. Those are the ones waking up.

Some of the most productive intrapreneurs on this planet are the Hispanic people who migrate to the United States and make it through the gaps in the trafficking system. Some of my neighbors are carpenters from South America who have built a very successful business and make contributions to the community in spite of being denied legal residency status. These are the people whose potential is crushed by the governments in Mezo-America and in the trafficking system in North America. Freedom is a great stimulant to progress.

Coupled with the brothels using drugs to control the prostitutes and you have a human tragedy every day.

@Krunoslav Since you mention the MSM push for "vaccines," I have serious doubts that these messenger RNA sequences have much to do with the virus. A virus is nothing but a clump of mRNA in a protein sheath. These so called vaccines are actually viruses in and of themselves, forcing the cells to produce proteins that are foreign to the human body. Also the timing is suspicious. the vaccines were available before the scientists ever sequenced the genes of the virus. It tells me that the vaccines were not made to fight the virus, the virus was made to push the vaccines. This conclusion is reinforced by the suppression of all information that is contrary to the MSM narrative and the government mandates and corporate mandates that would force all to get the jab or be treated like someone who refused the Mark of the Beast.

@TheHerrDark It has been so long since I'd seen the show that I can't even remember the name of it. But there are three passages in that piece that sound like television themes. It was a habit among the score writers to shamelessly plagiarize classical composers. Mozart, Bach, Tchikovsky and many others were never given credit for the music that was used and which they had written centuries earlier.

@azjc Scientists are working from the end toward the beginning. I mean, they form a hypothesis, a conclusion, based on their preconceived idea of how things work and then take measurements to prove or disprove the hypothesis. If it is proven it becomes a theory. If the theory stands up to all observations it becomes an axiom. Then the scientists in later generations are surprised when the axiom comes up false.
Understand this.

FuzzyMarineVet replies on Jul 29, 2021:
@MrBogus007 I would make some slightly larger changes to the constitution to strengthen it. For instance, in Article I the legislative power is granted only to Congress, so what do the lazy professional politicians do, delegate it. I would forbid the delegation of any power from one branch to another. Also, the sovereignty of the States must be so strengthened by the constitution that the Federal government won't even think of encroaching upon it. The United States has failed to follow the Constitution of the United States for over a century, and it is killing our freedom.

@Krunoslav In the Eastern Orthodox Church, Scripture is one of the legs of the three-legged stool used to understand the faith. The other two legs are the Liturgy and the lives of the saints. The liturgy is the act of worship by the Church, and it must, therefore, contain the fullness of the faith. And the greatest means of evangelization has always been example. No finer example of piety can be found than in the lives of those who lived for God in spite of the circumstances.

@Krunoslav I totally agree. In fact, one of the failings, as recorded in the Orthodox Christian record, of the Christian Church is that whenever some heresy crops up in the Church, the Counsel would make a statement so strong that its open to heretical interpretation as well. The Orthodox Christian Church teaches that the Bible is not comprehensive nor is it strictly closed as the only source of revelation of God. But the Bible is adequate to present the fullness of the Christian faith.
