We are not aware of the number of quotations from Enoch's book because it was removed from the Hebrew cannon by the Scribes when they made the Mazoritic Text in the Second Century AD. Of course Lenin had the Patriarch killed and installed a puppet not recognized by the Greater Russian Orthodox Church soon after for criticizing the government (the same reason the Tzar had the office eliminated). Even the beneficiaries of the communists were targets of their blood lust.

In fact, one of the failings, as recorded in the Orthodox Christian record, of the Christian Church is that whenever some heresy crops up in the Church, the Counsel would make a statement so strong that its open to heretical interpretation as well. The Orthodox Christian Church teaches that the Bible is not comprehensive nor is it strictly closed as the only source of revelation of God. But the Bible is adequate to present the fullness of the Christian faith.
