He claimed to champion the needs of the workers against the oppressive rich, yet never held a job in his life and was supported through life by a rich industrialist. No wonder only the biggest losers in life, who can't support themselves, find his ideology appealing.

In his personal life Marx was a genuine turd. In his professional life he was a fraud. His claims to a scientific approach were pure hokum. His legacy (through Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Mao, Xi, and others) was suffering for the masses, by starvation and genocide.
