Trump delegates responsibility to the states for shutting down their economies, and tells them the federal government will be available to back them up with whatever they need. MSM propaganda notwithstanding, both leftist Governors Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom gave him unqualified kudos for his efforts.
Nonetheless, the narrative now is, “Why didn’t YOU shut the country down earlier!!!??? There’s blood on your hands!!!”
Except, they can’t keep their constitutional scholarship consistent. Trump now wants to open the country back up, and—surprise—“You can’t do that!!! You don’t have the authority!!!”
I hope he goes ahead, works with governors (like Greg Abbott) who are ready to take the next step, and let the rest wallow in depression and failed economies. The left unquestionably looked at this “crisis” as an opportunity to bring down Trump and the country as a whole. I’m more than willing to let their agenda now bring them crashing down.

One thing that characterizes leftists is a lack of self control. It goes hand and hand with openness and gregariousness.
It is unfortunate that gregarious people are in charge of almost everything when what we most often need is autistic genius. Everything about civilization is about systemization.
