Not much difference between neo-nazi and neo- communist (🙄 even tho they don't 'identify' as such). They're both extremists but one is more mainstream, and acceptable. Certain sites skew in a direction and try to make you feel that (the narrative they push) is the general consensus. In comparison to the extremes in echo chambers, members of a particular group that aren't as extreme, see themselves as 'moderate'. 'middleway' might just believe that he/she is moderate, because in comparison, his social circle is more extreme.

Interesting article. It would have been more interesting if it included Ayn Rand's philosophy of 'objectivism' in the mix to compare ( not that I'm a follower, but her observations of the destructive nature of socialism/communism were very much on point). Most of what Marx and Engels said should be discredited given their ideology has failed everywhere and everytime.
