As for the DNC, so far there has been almost nothing specific on policy from anybody. Mostly it's Biden is going to heal the planet, solve inequality, unite the nation, end racial hostility, abolish injustice, end want, look after the nation as he looks after his family, provide leadership, be a figure of respect, demonstrate the power of example and the example of power (LOL) and so on. You'd have thought he was the 2nd coming the way his wife describes things... Over the top? You bet your ass... This is reminiscent of Barack Obama’s vision of his own election as the moment when the planet stops warming and the oceans stop rising. But Obama did fatuous emptiness much more stylishly. In one convention he was going to reunite the United States... he said there was no Liberal and Conservative divide, just the United states. There was no Black, white , asian divide, just the United states... etc, etc... LOL... how wrong has he been shown to be. What did he do to Unite the States? This is the same wishy washy, namby pamby, political pap... the Democrats and Progressives throw up world wide at every election.

I stopped reading when the mask phobia cut in... honestly masks can and do make a difference. Drs and nurses wear them for the same reason we should wear them if the circumstances prevail. Is Harris a hypocrite? Does she have double standards? Is power more important to her than the truth? Harris is a political shape shifter, always willing to change position, she too has gone far to the left, though not as far as many others in the Democratic Party. But, depressingly, she revels in the culture wars at their most vituperative. They have made her famous, especially her role in abusing and condemning Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when an uncorroborated allegation of long ago sexual assault was made against him. Naturally, Harris did not uphold anything like this standard when a much more credible accusation was made by a woman against Biden. Other Democratic presidential candidates have gone to the centre with their veep pick; Biden went left. My guess, is the answer to all those questions is a definite YES.....
