It is indeed confusing to reconcile that the antichrist as just a human being who can be slain (Ezek 28:7-9) and him coming out of the bottomless pit. Unless you make a careful study of Isaiah 14. There you will realize that what comes out of the bottomless pit is Satan himself, who then possesses (v16) this man.
Another thing that Chuck talked about was his incredulousness at man fighting against God in Psalm 2. This would only be comprehensible when you understand the mission of the Muslim mahdi. He comes to wage war against the "antichrist", the blasphemous label that he would place on the Lord Jesus Himself, which would be the ultimate "projection".
Regarding reptilians, etc., I don't particularly fall for that school of thought. It could be a description of how they might appear spiritually, like cherubs having four faces. I'll stick to the simplest explanation. But then again, who knows?
