The bible tells us that there will be those who will be saved during the Great Tribulation, for what is the point of the warning about not taking the mark of the beast to the point of beheading if it does not involve this scenario? The only situation that I can think of that would allow this missing of the Rapture happening is the being taught a lesson in humility and total dependence on God. Which we can all practice today, by the way. But regardless of one's personal Eschatological view, this sermon is definitely an interesting one. Vid 29:03 mins.
Hosea 5:15 tells us the purpose of the Great Tribulation, and it is to cause Israel to be at the end of their rope so they can do nothing else but call upon God.
