How Psalm 82 and John 10 Point to Jesus as the DESTROYER of Gods (9:09)
I'd like to pick up a little where Michael Heiser left off, and that's in the specifics on the How. Heiser already hinted at the when. We already know that Psalm 82:7 tells us that they are destined to "die like men." But how do spiritual beings die like men? Isaiah 14 gives us a hint. After talking about Lucifer from verses 12 to 15, it suddenly shifts gears to a man: the antichrist (v16). This could only mean one thing: Lucifer enters the antichrist just as he entered Judas in Luke 22:3. It is the most likely scenario that these fallen beings from the Divine Council shall likewise enter into the leaders, the "princes" of the Magogian invaders, and in that state be killed. They die like men. And it seems that these dead and decaying bodies shall be their prison for a thousand years. For who among the dead talk to each other from the grave (Isa 14:9-11)?
