Why do people put more value in ideological world views or mental maps of reality over reality itself? Somehow this discussion brings the whole Pauline argument of Romans chapter 7 to mind. Our goal then should be to submit to the knowledge of God - to commit to faith that which we cannot map out - and not to submit to our axiomatic assumptions or mental maps of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Although mental maps have their utility, they cannot be allowed to circumscribe the Divine, or "put God in a box," as it were. God's word should define God for us and not our philosophical or mental framing of Him.
I believe there will be a coming welcome relief from this human predisposition to map the Sacred into mental shelves and boxes in the coming Millennial Reign of Christ (Jeremiah 31:34, Hebrews 8:11), when "the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14).
Note: it is unfortunate that Peterson lurched the discussion into conceptual comparisons with the pagan gods of ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian mythos, which would raise alarm bells in any Christian. But I guess that is just the psychologist in Peterson, so let us "spit out the bones" on that one.

Where did that name Lucifer originate from? It's not in the bible!
@angelo It's in Isaiah 14:12, but that's not his name. "Lucifer" means "light bearer." It is not supposed to be a proper noun. Same with "satan" not being a proper noun as It simply means "adversary" or "accuser." The fallen chief cherub has a name, but not one that will be remembered.
