Hi all! I made this video because I think it speaks to what Arielle is trying to do on her channel. Feel free to check it out. Thank you!

Thank you all for your feedback on the video and any other thoughts you've shared. I've read everything. I have felt the need to make a video like this since George Floyd's death but its message emcompasses everything that's happened so far this year - mainly COVID, George Floyd, JK Rowling's accusations, and - while it may not sound as important - the Youtube stuff (I really don't want to call it drama) around Shane / Jeffree / Tati / James. Because that is serious stuff that has a lot of people heated and not willing to hear each other. I have been having so many discussions - mainly with my boyfriend and my therapist - about the importance of nuance. and of being afraid to speak out when you know your opinion is different from the majority. Accusations are thrown around haphazardly. Almost every night as I've been going to sleep I've been formatting sample posts or videos in my mind, kind of purging my thoughts into an imaginary statement. I've been NEEDING to say something. After someone shut down an opinion I held the other day in an extremely childish way that legit reminded me of elementary school students bullying me, I felt inclined to make the video I did. I specifically took no angle because there is no angle. The angle is "listen." The video implies no political or social leaning. I am not any sort of expert on any of the issues themselves and yes I am privileged in many ways so I don't claim to speak over anyone. This video felt like a safe yet thorough way to go. Thank you for watching and again Arielle thank you for tweeting; I truly did not expect that and finding out about it really moved me.

Look, there are many documentaries about African tribes in Africa that are as primitive as a thousand years ago. They still exist. They have been fighting, stealing, kidnapping other tribes members today same a centuries ago. They were the original Rap and Hip Hop gangs and not a lot has changed.
In General worldwide many peoples and places are not that advanced from the past. We fool ourselves that there will be an understanding of complex primitive thinking ingrained in cultures. The world has been conquer or be conquered and not much has changed. May as well admit it and trash the Kombiya.

Heartfelt and articulated nicely. Glad you posted and I look forward to more from you:

I believe I and almost everyone else is willing to cede to others claims to aggrieved status as long as they can detach their claim from emotion, de-escalate the violence and demonstrate objectively - factually accurate and statistically supported claims and rightful demand for redress.

Saying "racism!" doesn't make it so.
The problem is that violent outbursts of having been mal-treated because "racism" have somehow been imbued with the protections of the proverbial sacred cow.

The claim itself is sufficient and is to be regarded as above substantiation and evidence of such. Especially if and when that "racism!" is coming from the mouths of folks who happen to have Black/Dark skin tone.

White people - indeed Western Culture itself has been relegated to the obviously ridiculous position of defending itself (which really is verboten in and of itself) for merely being White of European decent.

WE (WHITES) are the proverbial one legged man caught in an ass kicking contest.

Come at us with some objective (free of emotion) claims - let us work together to investigate the veracity of your claims and coalesce on resolution.

Jim Crowe died (violently) almost 60 years ago and Slavery 100 years before that.

Those shameful historical sins having long lain in the grave we are long overdue for absolution.

It has been a long hard road to where we are now. The only thing required for Blacks to achieve success, however they interpret that, is for them to unburden themselves their misinformed and misplaced anger - it is far and away more harmful to the hater than it is to the hated - and to willfully participate - to assimilate as Americans first and foremost.

Realignment of Black value systems seems to be in order. Value the nuclear family - dads in the home. Children AFTER marriage - education - read to the children and teach them that the school house and the teacher are not - NOT there to oppress but to educate for their own benefit.

It seems to me that Blacks are fighting against themselves and what they are demanding is that "white European people" need to do something about it.

It is next to impossible to save anyone from themselves. Just ask anyone who has had to endure a drug / alcohol addicted son, daughter, husband wife...

People hell bent on self destruction never or almost never accept personal responsibility. They point their collective fingers and demand acceptance as they are yet they blame others for NOT rescuing them over and over again.
