There is a possible scenario why we read this prophecy in Daniel 11:42, that Egypt would have already fallen into Israel's orbit of actual control - but not as secured as the Arabian Peninsula - after being defeated in the coming Psalm 83 War (Obad 1:7-21, Amos 9:11-12). Could Egypt's Russian-built nuclear "potential" be an additional reason why the antichrist will be targeting Egypt? Israel's success in defeating the surrounding nations would very likely be the reason why their names are absent in the list of nations that will be marching against Israel in the Magogian invasion in Ezek chapters 38 and 39. Which is why those in the Arabian Peninsula will be asking this strange question in Ezek 38:13, because they are already unable to participate in the Magogian invasion.
