It is so sad to see how the Democrats, whenever they have been in power in recent years, have been trying to destroy the longstanding practices of both the Senate and the House that have been put in place to ensure that the minority has a say and is treated fairly. They destroy these practices when they have power, in order to run roughshod over the Republicans and to do whatever they want with as little impediment as possible, and then, when they are in the minority, cry foul when the Republicans act in any way similar. And, of course, the MSM ignores what the Democrats do or they defend it, but then try to paint the Republicans as the bad guys when they play by the same rules the Democrats have themselves have enacted when they had the power to do so. This pattern has repeated itself for quite a few election cycles over at least the past 10-15 years, if not longer. It is a crying shame.
