While "the left" is definitely more on the side of recreational drug legalization, I definitely wouldn't characterize them as ignoring it getting into the hands of children any more than "the right". And with sex, "the left" doesn't encourage sexual activity among children - they just encourage it to be a discussed and taught topic.
