QAnon Thinks Trump Will Become President Again on March 4
Ranticore comments on Jan 26, 2021:
QAnon had its moment. Seems a psyop to see how gullible Americans can be when fed false hope. Yeah, I fell for it somewhat. Got nothing but a rigged election, and a false president.
JacksonNought replies on Jan 26, 2021:
Haven't you claimed before to be a LaVeyan Satanist, or am I confusing you with someone else? Because I can't see why a Satanist would fall for the Q crap. You might be still falling for it if you think the election was rigged.

@Hanno and where are you getting this "cheated with a young girl" tidbit from? Trump claimed many times to be sexually attracted to his daughter. He also was accused of raping a minor, and partied with Epstein. He also bragged about intentionally walking in on naked minors in a changing room. Anything you have against Biden is shadowed by the mountain on Trump.

JacksonNought replies on Jan 25, 2021:
@Alysandir the Capitol was not a private building that day. It was locked and guarded by police. The only reason people got in was because they broke windows and doors and pushed past the police line. So by entering the building, they were all guilty of criminal trespass. The White House is also a public building, but you can be sure anyone trying to charge it and break in will be met with extreme force and thrown in jail. I don't see what 1/6 can be labeled *other* than an attempted coup. These people were there because Congress was certifying the electoral votes, officially confirming Biden as the president-elect. They were storming the Capitol to try and stop this certification, because they wanted to overturn the election and have Trump installed for a second term. What else would you call this?

@MelanieHope Democrats who fought to keep segregation = Conservatives, Republicans fighting for civil liberties = Progressives. Of course the parties had a re-alignment, and now Conservatives are Republicans and Progressives are Democrats. So let's move past party, and admit that Conservatives and Right-Wingers were pro-segregation. As for the current sitting president... if I recall correctly, he was the catalyst for passing marriage equality, one of the biggest things that made me support him. Even Obama didn't fully support marriage equality publicly. It wasn't until a 2012 interview that Biden made a "gaffe" saying he supported marriage equality, that finally Obama and his administration started to publicly support it and lead to the monumental decision in *Obergefell v. Hodges*. I will always praise him for that.

@Joehlert11 quite alright, I was able to understand your comment. Sorry to hear that Slug doesn't have decent accessibility. Are you using a mobile device, or a screen reader like JAWS or NVDA? Bill Maher has been pretty good about his philosophy the past four years - you can hate Trump, but don't hate Trump supporters. Unfortunately the name-calling and personal attacks will happen on both sides of the aisle. Fringe Liberals will be quick to label Conservatives racists or sexist or other bigoted terms, fringe Conservatives will be quick to label Liberals as Communists or baby killers or lazy no-job moochers. As for what Trump did that hurt people, well yes rolling back civil rights on LGBTQ people did hurt. Completely dismissing COVID and telling his supporters it was a hoax and would just magically disappear, accusing hospitals of stealing PPE, etc, resulted in a terrible out of control pandemic where 400k Americans have died. He rolled back environmental protections and food safety regulations, harming the Earth and the health of Americans. He stopped funding of Social Security. He tried to remove the ACA with no replacement, which would have resulted in millions losing healthcare. He appointed three Catholic judges to the SCOTUS, who have all expressed desires to overturn marriage equality and Roe V Wade. You may think I am misguided for seeing these as as issues, but then I think Conservatives are misguided being heavily focused on anti-LGBTQ, anti-abortion, and pro-Christian policies. You also can't complain about the treatment of Trump for 4 years unless you also complained about the treatment of Obama for 8 years. Obama had some of the most vile things said about him, and every little thing was a major headline for Conservative media - such as wearing a tan suit, putting mustard on a burger, Michelle's arms, etc. You had Trump himself spread lies about Obama's birth for 8 years, as he was the creator of the birther movement. You still have people attacking Obama, calling him a secret Muslim. calling him gay, accusing Michelle of being a man, etc. Trump also spent all 4 years attacking others, calling the press the "enemy of the people", using childish (and bigoted) nicknames for all of his opponents, going on Twitter tirades, lying constantly.
I’ll hold my breath...

@Joehlert11 so your interpretation is "Liberals don't care that his policies fuck them over, he makes them feel good. Trump makes Conservatives' lives better, even if he isn't a great human." Sorry to tell you, but as a Liberal, we view it a different way. Our perspective is "Biden's policies will make our lives better, and we feel okay with him in office. Trump's policies were terrible for our lives and the country, and he was a shit human to boot." That's the reason there are Democrats and Republicans, Liberals and Conservatives - they each have their own ideas on what makes the country better. It's always better to ask someone from the other side their perspective, rather than assigning a narrative to them. @vangr as an American on the Left, I love the country and its people and freedom. I don't feel like Trump ever actually loved the country or its people, he took advantage of them for power and money. As for why people on the Left, and Biden supporters, aren't consistently praising Biden every second... well, first off, we are finally free of that weight on our shoulders, having to worry about every little thing Trump is doing, and what random troublesome Tweet will come out at 3am, what problematic law he will try and force through, what con he is up to next. We finally have boring. Boring is nice, let us take a moment to breathe. Second, we aren't like the cult of Trump - we don't see the need to wear Biden branded clothing, or buy any other Biden related merchandise, or drive around with giant Biden flags, or have a Biden boat parade... Biden isn't a brand we need to flaunt and shout from the rooftops, he is a man who we elected to run the country, and we will certainly criticize him when it is warranted and he needs to do better, and give him praise when he does something we like (not just doing things more tactfully than Trump). Not everyone thinks what Trump did the past 4 years was good, and those who supported Biden (and those who strictly voted *against* Trump) are happy he is unraveling the past 4 years. We are happy Biden removed the transgender military ban. We are happy Biden stopped the unnecessary wall. We are happy Biden re-entered into accords to combat climate change. We are happy Biden is taking COVID seriously. We are happy Biden is taking measures to help people impacted by COVID and in need of financial help. And we are happy Biden signed a 2-year (wish it were longer) ban on lobbying positions for people leaving government positions - something Trump actually promised to do on the campaign trail, and I praised him for it, but he never delivered. Liberals / Progressives / Democrats did not only dislike Trump because of his demeanor, that is a gross simplification and completely ignoring the actual valid problems we ...

I put it there to trigger people like you and weed out the white supremacists and Nazis. Trump wasn't an outsider. He was another coastal elite billionaire who never worked a day in his life, and decided it would be fun to run for president and gain more power. It's not like he was some grass-roots everyman who gave up his livelihood for public service. Trump ran in the primaries multiple times. He spent all 8 years of Obama's administration lying about birtherism. The only "outsider" thing about him was his constant need to attack people and divide the country - that is nothing to be commended. That fact that you keep saying "the Negro Floyd" speaks volumes about who you are, in addition to your "Zionist" paranoia and "White America". Just another white supremacist Nazi. She also had run ins with the law, including attempted murder of her husband's ex, in which she received a restraining order. She was no hero. She died for nothing, supporting a con-man who saw her as "low class". What does my ethnicity have to do with anything? Would it be any different if I said I was Italian or Irish or German? Or are you, once again, and anti-Semite? I guess I am playing into Godwin's law, but you sound like a Nazi.

JacksonNought replies on Jan 20, 2021:
@pbuck0145 Ok, and? Christian Science is a sect of Christianity that rejects medicine and believes prayer alone should be used to heal. It has literally nothing to do with science, despite the name. It's a known fact that Nazis were not Socialist, despite the name. Nazis were heavy right, Socialism is heavy left. It is nothing but a Conservative "gotcha" narrative to try and equate the two, in order to try and distance the Right-Wing Christian Nazi party from current day Right-Wing Christians. > The Nazi regime had little to do with socialism, despite it being prominently included in the name of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. The NSDAP, from Hitler on down, struggled with the political implications of having socialism in the party name. Some early Nazi leaders, such as Gregor and Otto Strasser, appealed to working-class resentments, hoping to wean German workers away from their attachment to existing socialist and communist parties. The NSDAP’s 1920 party program, the 25 points, included passages denouncing banks, department stores and “interest slavery,” which suggested a quasi-Marxist rejection of free markets. But these were also typical criticisms in the anti-Semitic playbook, which provided a clue that the party’s overriding ideological goal wasn’t a fundamental challenge to private property. > > Instead of controlling the means of production or redistributing wealth to build a utopian society, the Nazis focused on safeguarding a social and racial hierarchy. They promised solidarity for members of the Volksgemeinschaft ("racial community") even as they denied rights to those outside the charmed circle. Not to mention there is a fundamental difference between pure Socialism and Democratic Socialism.

@toronto_Georgia as I said with your first comment, I may not agree with your stance, but I can see your argument and can respect that you at least try to make an argument from good faith. I don't agree with your politics, but I wouldn't call you a troll. Where I label Krunoslav as a troll is because he isn't actually debating or trying to explain his point - at least not in interaction with me - he is just throwing out insults and attacks. As I already said, his whole argument is based on a falsehood, whether that is willful ignorance or intentional trolling or something else. I presented him with Levine's qualifications. You can say you do not agree that they are adequate or respectable or right for the role, but saying someone graduated from *X* and held a position at *Y* is simply a statement of fact - and Krunoslav dismissed it as "no you are wrong" with no explanation. Rather than explain his perspective that perhaps being trans is problematic and therefore should disqualify someone from a position of authority (something I definitely disagree with, but is an opinion that can spark debate) he just threw out an attack and a non-sequitur about Communism. What would you have me do with that? How is that not insincere or trolling behavior? Would you describe him as being respectful there? Would you not call his comment shitty and uncalled for? This is par for the course. Any difference of opinion with Krunoslav results in nothing more than him calling you a Communist and going on a rant and throwing out ad hominem attacks. Can you not see this as trolling? Not to mention he lives in Ukraine, yet is heavily invested in the nominations of one person to Assistant Secretary of Health. While I can see someone outside of the US being concerned about the goings-on of America, and how it will affect the rest of the world, Krunoslav and his sycophantic Trumperism is almost pathological.

Further, when presented with Levine's qualifications, he simply replied "your statement is factually incorrect" with no evidence to back up his dismissal.
