Even if the science is settled (which it usually ain't), there must be regular challenges to the paradigm, and challengers must be treated respectfully.
The specific challenge I issue to Democrats is to respect challengers of the paradigm.
The media and oligarchs are so powerful that they can make "scientific truth" whatever they want it to be. The age of rogue Galileo-style scientists is over.
In the world of pop science, bad science doesn't die. Pigs fly. If a theory is proven wrong, the media keeps flooding the space with the theory like it never happened.
In physics, if a theory is proven wrong, it dies. Pigs don't fly. The memo is passed around. People stop publishing on that theory.
If a sports team wins a championship they don't become permanent champions. They have play in the next season and earn their way to the title game all over again.
If you're a climate skeptic at a climate conference, Democrat scientists are mean to you. They're like soccer hooligans.
Democrats are too chicken to debate in a neutral stadium. Democrats only debate in Democrat stadiums, and they sabotage the Republican team. No hot water in the Republican locker room. The refs are partisan Democrats. If you win in this stadium you haven't proved anything. You have to win in a neutral stadium.
Science kills are rare. After the cold fusion fad got going, Dr. Koonin gave a seminar with physics calculations that decisively killed the possibility of cold fusion. Mainstream physicists read the calculation and it was ratified, and mainstream physicists ceased working on cold fusion. Yet the hoax didn't die. For at least a decade after that the hoax was kept alive by fraudsters. Fraudsters made big money off the hoax.
It's hard to make money with legit science and easy to make money with fraudulent science. Such is the state of modern Americans.

All athletes are masters of pain. Pain makes athletics objective. Whoever can take the most pain wins.
That being said, there are 2 kinds of athletes:
Athletes that can take damage and still function.
vs.
Athletes that fold if they take a hit.
Mike Tyson: Everyone has a plan, until they take a hit.
Sports that include taking hits include rugby, football, hockey, wrestling, and UFC.
UFC fighters courageously take damage to entertain fans.
Imagine a UFC fighter at a press conference saying:
Yes, I lost, and I took a lot of hits. But it's okay because it was a spirited
fight and the audience was entertained, and I got a bigass paycheck. I look
forward to living in leisure off of this paycheck. I earned it.
These are Real Athletes. They sacrifice their bodies to entertain the
crowd. Their sacrifice is real. They have injuries as a testament to their sacrifice.
The gymnasts that refused to wear leotards to please the crowd are petty. And they virtue signal about thier pettiness.
Athletes that sacrificed their bodies for the glory of full-contact sports are the ones that deserve to virtue signal.
I watch athletes that sacrifice their body for the sake of the fans.
I watch Jackie Chan movies. Jackie Chan takes on big damage to make movies.
Most war deaths are male.
Most workplace deaths are male.
Most Titanic deaths were male.
Historically, it's men that sacrifice their bodies for the community.
I feel that this entitles men to wear speedos if they wish.
Modern woke athletes forgot that their income comes from fans. They got arrogant.
Without fans, athletes are nothing.

Galileo invented the idea behind the pendulum clock. Galileo discovered that for small-angle oscillations, the period of a pendulum is independent of angle.
Shortly after, Christian Huygens used the idea to build a working pendulum clock. The age of accurate timekeeping had begun.
The story involving Galileo and a tower and the dropping of a big and small rock is false. The experiment was done by Stevin, decades before Galileo.
Galileo's contribution is that he was the first to mathematically capture acceleration. Galileo was the first to write down the formula.
